Privacy
The short version: we collect only what's needed to execute your NDA, we share it only with the other party to your agreement, and we never sell it.
What we collect
When you create or sign an NDA through confided, we collect:
- names, job titles, and entity details you enter
- email addresses of both parties
- the NDA variables you choose, such as purpose, confidentiality period, and governing law
- timestamps of key events — when emails were verified and when each party signed
Why we collect it
We use this information for one thing: creating your NDA, verifying each party's email address, routing the agreement for signature, and sending both parties confirmation of the executed agreement. We don't use it for advertising, and we never sell it.
Where it lives
Your information is stored securely with our database provider and protected so that it can only be reached through private, single-purpose links. Verification codes and notifications are sent through our email delivery provider. Both providers process your data only to provide their service to us.
Who can see it
Only the parties to an NDA can view it, through private links sent to their verified email addresses. Nobody can browse or look up agreements they aren't party to.
Cookies and tracking
confided doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
Executed NDAs are kept as a record of execution for both parties — that's a core part of what the service provides. If you'd like information about you removed, contact us and we'll work through it with you.
